Meet Author Tnesha Sims

Slyce: Brothers and Sistah’s, please welcome our sistah, Author Tnesha Sims to “The Interrogation Room”!! Welcome my sistah :-). Are you ready?

Slyce: What inspired you to become an author?Author Tnesha Sims

TS: Well, writing is my passion. I started writing just messing around with a short script. One day I decided to take it further and before I knew it, I had a manuscript and had no idea what to do with it. I decided months after that I could possibly get it published. And look at me now!!

Slyce: What is the name of your publishing company?

TS: I’m signed with Royalty Publishing House. I am honored to be with a group that I feel is like my family. Porscha Sterling is simply amazing!

Slyce: In what genre do you write?

TS: Urban Literature (Fiction)

Slyce: Have you penned under another name?

TS: No I haven’t!

Slyce: You wrote a book titled, “I Still Love My Savage”. What was this book about?

TS: Yes, I did, it’s about a girl name Faith and her friends, Kela and Tonya. Faith reconnects with an old flame and when they reunite all the feelings she had comes back. Faith has been doing her own thing, not thinking about love. She always gave her girls, Kela and Tonya, advice on finding love, but she never seemed to take her own advice. The reason being, is because she still loves the guy that left her.

Slyce: Is this book a stand alone or a series?

TS: This book is a series!

Slyce: How important are interviews?

TS: I think interviews are very important. You get the chance to open up more about who you are, as an author and give your readers answers to question they may have.

Slyce: How important are reviews?

TS: For me, reviews are important. I can see what my readers like and don’t like. I can use the reviews to define my strengths and weaknesses.

Slyce: What does the term, “Building a Brand” mean?

TS: To me, building the brand means creating a platform that defines your passion. And being able to share that with others.

Slyce: What steps are you taking to build your brand?

TS: I’m working on finding ways to market my work more and to continue to interact with my readers.

Slyce: What goals would you like to achieve as an author?

TS: I want to be able to write a book that is so dope that a movie becomes of it.

Slyce: What advice would you like to share with aspiring authors?

TS: Just do it! Study your craft and make it happen. Don’t wait another year or two because that year or two can be used into you becoming a best-selling author.

Slyce: Is there anything else cooking in the lab for Author Tnesha Sims?

TS: Oh yes, but you’ll have to continue to follow my work and find out!

Slyce: Do you write for the passion or the profit?

TS: Both, I love what I do! So if I can make a profit from that, why not?

Slyce: Name three authors you’d love to work with.

TS: It’s too many to choose, but I would have to say, Nicole Dior, K.L Hall and Khadijah J.

Slyce: Where can our viewers purchase your book?

TS: My books can be purchased on Amazon.
