Her innocence was snatched away right in the walls of the house she called home. Mia’s life as she knew it would never be the same. After holding this deep dark secret in for so many years, she finally decided to share this life-changing experiences with her god sister, Nicole who she thought she could trust and would help her, only to find out that she would try to use it to her advantage. Which caused Mia to decide she had enough of Miami, and it was time for her to start over fresh in a new location. Luckily for her, she had a step-sister that offered for her that fresh start she needed, and she moves to Chicago. Before leaving Miami, Mia promised herself that she would never trust anybody again. That all changed when she meets a tall dark and handsome football player, but the name of Semaj Davis.
