Slyce: What inspired you to become an author?
BK: My love for reading is what inspired me to become an author.
Slyce: What is the name of your publishing company?
BK: I’m currently signed with Karen Renee Publications and that was the best move I could have made for my career.
Slyce: In what genre do you write?
BK: I write urban fiction/romance.
Slyce: Have you ever penned under another name?
BK: I’m a new author and B.Knox is the only name I will be penned under.
Slyce: You wrote a book titled, “He Gives Me A Feeling Like No Other”. What was this book about?
BK: This book is about twin sisters that go through ups and downs in their relationship while trying to juggle their new careers. The one sister went through a very bad heartbreak, so she is against relationships while the other one just wants to be loved.
Slyce: Is this book a stand alone or a series?
BK: This book was supposed to be a standalone, but ended up being a series.
Slyce: Is this book an eBook and/or paperback?
BK: As of right know this book is only available in eBook, I will be doing paperbacks once I complete this series.
Slyce: How important are interviews?
BK: For me interviews are important because it gives readers a chance to get to know a new author and also away for me to gain new readers.
Slyce: How important are reviews?
BK: Reviews are important to me because it let’s me know what the readers are looking for in the next book and not only that the reviews will help you improve your next story.
Slyce: What does the term “Building A Brand” mean?
BK: Building a brand is a representation of You and only you!!!!
Slyce: What steps are you taking to build your brand?
BK: Right now doing interviews and podcasts are some of the steps that I’m taking to build my brand and also the things that my publisher Karen Renee has lined up for me.
Slyce: What goals do you wish to achieve as an author?
BK: Some of my goals to achieve is to become best selling author, see my books in stories and libraries.
Slyce: Do you write for passion or the profit?
BK: I write for the passion, it’s a great stress reliever for me.
Slyce: What words of wisdom can you share with those who wish to become authors?
BK: Be yourself and don’t try to be like someone else. No matter what, don’t give up

BK: After I finish about “He Gives Me A Feeling Like No Other”, I will be starting on a book called “Betrayal Kind of Love”.
