Slyce: What inspired you to become an author?
Vette: Life inspired me. I learned to put my pain in the pages of each novel in return I hope to help someone or maybe a few.
Slyce: What is the name of your publishing company?
Vette: The name of my Publishing Company is Bossette Behavior Presents.
Slyce: In what genre do you write?
Vette: I actually write in all and or any genre known to the literature world. My favorite would be Erotica.
Slyce: Have you ever penned under another name?
Vette: Never I’ve always written under “Vette” which is also half of my middle name.
Slyce: You wrote a book titled, “Scandalous: Governor’s Mansion”. What was this book about?
Vette: Governor Malik Korsten is a ladies’ man mind you he is very married !!! He preys on young women who are fresh out of college looking for a bag or professional position the man is so scandalous he sleeps with his mistress’s mother but he soon finds his Karma.
Slyce: Is this book a stand alone or a series?
Vette: This novel is a standalone
Slyce: Is this book an audio, eBook and/or paperback?
Vette: This Novel once Re released will be available on Paperback and eBook.
Slyce: How important are interviews?
Vette: Interviews help to promote and engage in with my readers it gives them a chance in getting to know me as a person.
Slyce: How important are reviews?
Vette: Reviews for me? Are very important see I take all criticism forms good bad ugly and use them to grow in my craft I thank readers regardless of one or two star reviews.
Slyce: What does the term “Building A Brand” mean?
Vette: When Building a brand you’re actually rebirthing YOU.
Slyce: What steps are you taking to build your brand?
Vette: To Build and or Revamp my brand I’m using all of my platforms I have over 10k followers with all of my social media platforms combined. I promote me but I have real support from fellow Authors, Promoters, Friends etc. we support each other I also hand out my business cards where ever I go.
Slyce: What goals do you wish to achieve as an author?
Vette: I’d love to make New York’s Times.
Slyce: Do you write for passion or the profit?
Vette: Passion. The money is fine but I can make that within any of my businesses or trading stock. I love to write I’m a story teller it’s what I do I literally write in my sleep and can form a synopsis with my eyes closed.
Slyce: What words of wisdom can you share with those who wish to become authors?
Vette: Do your research and protect your work. Above all become comfortable with being uncomfortable. Never box your talent for anyone and try to appeal to all of your audiences.
Slyce: Name three authors you’d love to work with.
Vette: Stephen King, Sister Soulja, and Zane.
Slyce: Is there anything else cooking in the lab for Author Vette?
Vette: Absolutely!! Aside from me rereleasing all twenty of my earlier novels I have new material and a winery in the works. Also my Daughter will be releasing her novel soon.

Vette: I’m currently in the midst of releasing under my new company. I will gradually update as novels are ready to become available for purchase.
