Slyce: What inspired you to become an author?
NJ: My love for reading inspired me to become an author. A good book can make you feel a range of emotions at once and I love creating characters people can relate to.
Slyce: What is the name of your publishing company?
NJ: The name of the publishing company I write under is Royalty Publishing House.
Slyce: In what genre do you write?
NJ: I currently write urban fiction, but am working on an erotica series as well.
Slyce: Have you penned under another name?
NJ: Yes, my first two books are under Rain.
Slyce: Is your book an eBook and/or paperback?
NJ: Yes, it’s an eBook available on Kindle Unlimited August 30. It will be available in about a month on Amazon on paperback.
Slyce: How important is research?
NJ: Research is very important, I mean its fiction, but you still want to know what your talking about.
Slyce: How important are interviews?
NJ: Interviews are important to marketing yourself, letting people get to know you and gain new readers.
Slyce: How important are reviews?
NJ: Reviews are important to me because they let me know if the reader is feeling the book or not. Helps me grow and improve things that I need to improve.
Slyce: What goals would you like to achieve as an author?
NJ: After I get settled in this industry, I want to eventually start my own publishing company.
Slyce: What advice can you offer those aspiring to become an author?
NJ: To just start writing and keep at it, before you know it you’ll have a book.
Slyce: Is there anything else cooking in the lab for Author NeTasha Jackson?
NJ: Working on part two of “Gunz and Karma”, while dabbling in some erotica.
Slyce: Do you write for the passion or the profit?
NJ: For the passion. I love to see how readers respond to my books rather its negative or positive.

NJ: I’ll love to work with Cairo, Carl Webber and Bianca.

NJ: Yes I have actually on the Saved and Sexy radio station.
