Slyce: What inspired you to become an Author?

NL: I always had love for the urban literature since the age 12. In high school I used to write short stories for friends entertainment. One day I decided to give it a go and did very well.

Slyce: What is the name of your publishing company?

NL: Elite Publication.

Slyce: In what genre do you write?

NL: Urban, Romance.

Slyce: What excited you about your genre?

NL: The fact I can write about the urban romance. I believe even a thug’s have happy endings.

Slyce: Have you ever penned under another name?

NL: No.

Slyce: You wrote a book titled “Will Love Be Enough: Royal and Karma”. Where can our viewers purchase this book?

NL: This book is only on Amazon kindle at the moment.

Slyce: Is this book a stand alone or a series?

NL: It’s a three book series.

Slyce: Is this book a e-book and/or paperback?

NL: E-book for now.

Slyce: What tools have you found most useful in distributing you material?

NL: I network with other Authors and fan groups we all share and promote each other work. I also share and post on facebook, Ig, and Twitter

Slyce: How important are interviews?

NL: Interviews are very important to me because it give the chance for the author to let their reader get to know who they are. It also give the author a chance to talk and connect with their readers and build a good relationship.

Slyce: How important are reviews?

NL: Reviews are very important, I look at reviews with an open mind to bad or good reviews. I look at bad reviews as lesson so next time I’ll do better. Good reviews let me know I’m doing my thing and keep up the good work.

Slyce: What does the term “Building a Brand” mean?

NL: To make a name for yourself. So when ever readers see Neesha Lee name on a cover of a book they wont hesitate to one click.

Slyce: What does the phrase “Learn the Craft” mean?

NL: Learning the business and how to be successful.

Slyce: What steps are you taking to build your brand?

NL: Socializing and promoting. How will they know who I am if I don’t interact and let them know.

Slyce: Name three Authors you’d love to work with?

NL: Nika Michelle, K.C Mills and Porscha Sterling.

Slyce: What Authors have influenced you past and/or present?

NL: I say K.C Mills. I love her work and it keep me wanting more. I love her style in writing.

Slyce: What goals do you wish to achieve as an Author?

NL: I want to be a known author. I want to have a large fan base and I want the readers to love my work.

Slyce: What advice would you offer to those who aspire to become Authors?

NL: Never give up, no matter how hard it get.

Slyce: What was one of your biggest mistake you made as a “New Author”?

NL: Having doubt, I always over think on my work. I wish I would have starting publishing my work sooner.

NL: I write for a passion, it’s the only time. I can escape and write about things I have control of. Oh yeah profit is good, nothing better then getting paid for something you love to do.
