Slyce: What inspired you to become an author?
MW: What inspired me to write was reading a lot and writing short stories in high school. I wanted to write something that I wanted to read.
Slyce: What is the name of your publishing company?
MW: I’m currently published under K.Renee but I’m indie as well.
Slyce: In what genre do you write?
MW: I create in the urban fiction genre.
Slyce: Have you ever penned under another name?
MW: No, but I have thought about it.
Slyce: You wrote a book titled, “The Realest Love From A Boss”. What was this book about?
MW: “The Realest Love From A Boss” is about an entanglement in layman’s terms. A boss finding love in an unimaginable way.
Slyce: Is this book a stand alone or a series?
MW: This book is part of a series.
Slyce: Is this book an eBook and/or paperback?
MW: This book is an eBook but it will be available in paperback soon.
Slyce: How important are interviews?
MW: I believe interviews are important because they give you an intimate settings with the readers. They allow an open floor for questioning and getting to know the authors.
Slyce: How important are reviews?
MW: I believe reviews are both important for the author and readers; they give insight to the book for everyone. Authors can use reviews as pointers for writing the next installment or other books.
Slyce: What does the term “Building A Brand” mean?
MW: The term building a brand means going above and beyond to solidify your name for your legacy.
Slyce: What steps are you taking to build your brand?
MW: The steps I’m taking to build my brand is having consistency with my writing, promoting anywhere that I can, and getting my name out through word of mouth.
Slyce: What goals do you wish to achieve as an author?
MW: My goals that I want to achieve as an author are: making my name a household name, having my books turned into short plays and movies.
Slyce: Do you write for passion or the profit?
MW: I used to write for passion . Passion doesn’t pay the bills, but using your passion can create profit which is what I do.
Slyce: What words of wisdom can you share with those who wish to become authors?
MW: The words I have for new coming authors is: Write for you.

MW: Three authors that I want to work with are K.Renee & Kellz Kimberly
Slyce: Is there anything else cooking in the lab for Author Myia White?
MW: I have a few works in the making. I’m looking into scripting and audiobooks for a couple of my works.
