Slyce: What inspired you to become an author?
CG: What inspired me to become an author is the love for writing. I’ve been doing it for a while since I was a child.
Slyce: What is the name of your publishing company?
CG: The name of my publishing company is Lockdown Publications !!!
Slyce: In what genre do you write?
CG: I write in urban fiction.
Slyce: Have you penned under another name?
CG: I’ve never wrote under another name. This is going to be my first novel!
Slyce: You wrote a book titled, “True Savage”. What was this book about?
CG: This book is about a man who is going threw a family trial and tribulation of false deeds and betrayal. He’s on the path to reign and keep his control over his empire as he battle with the closest ones dear to him.
Slyce: Is this book a stand alone or a series?
CG: This book is going to be an exciting 6 book series. People will live the outcome of ghost and the true savage novel guaranteed.
Slyce: How important are reviews?
CG: I feel that reviews have two sides of greatness to see just how much your hard work is paying off. It’s nothing better than to get an outside view on your story and it’s a way u can take in different opinions and tighten up your craft.
Slyce: What does the term, “Building a Brand” mean?
CG: The term building a brand means to escalate your product, show your quality worth and push until u make a name from scratch.
Slyce: What steps are you taking to build your brand?
CG: I’m taking every step necessary to achieve everything that my future holds. I write everyday, pray hard and always take my work seriously. I take good criticism and thrive to push harder and build my brand.
Slyce: What goals would you like to achieve as an author?
CG: I wish to become one of the best authors I can. I wish to leave a mark in this book game when they look up my pen name and see Chris Green. I wish to leave a statement that Lockdown Publication was the best thing that happened to me.
Slyce: What advice would you like to share with aspiring authors?
CG: Stay focused and accomplish your dreams. Day after day is passing and any minute can be your chance to succeed and see your future progress. Stay motivated and never let anyone say that you can’t do it.
Slyce: Is there anything else cooking in the lab for Author Chris Green?
CG: Yes there is plenty more available and coming from me. I can never stop this after the readers get a whiff of my first book.
Slyce: Do you write for the passion or the profit?
CG: I write for the passion. Writing isn’t a jugg or a job to me, it’s a lifestyle. I write music poetry and other forms of writing but the profit is okay if it means that much certain people.
Slyce: Name three authors you’d love to work with.
CG: Cassius Alexander, Nene Capri and Author Jelissa Edwards.
Slyce: Have you ever done blog talk radio?
CG: No, I’ve never done blog talk radio.
Slyce: Do you feel a new author should have a “Team”?
CG: Yes, if you don’t have a team you have no balance to support you. It’s only possible to accomplish a dream with a lot of support and love.
Slyce: What was one of your biggest mistakes as a new author?
CG: One of the biggest mistakes I made was not taking the time to write my material out correctly which cost me extra time but if you love the writing as I do, you will do whatever it takes.
