Slyce: What inspired you to become an author?
AIT: My love for reading, writing then a little push from fellow author Jimmy DaSaint.
Slyce: What is the name of your publishing company?
AIT: Amiaya Entertainment, LLC
Slyce: In what genre do you write?
AIT: Urban Street Lit
Slyce: Have you penned under another name?
AIT: Not at all.
Slyce: You wrote a book titled, “Flower’s Bed”. What was this book about?
AIT: Flower’s Bed is a tale about a young woman’s tumultuous journey from adolescent to young adulthood.
Slyce: Is this book a stand alone or a series?
AIT: It has 2 parts. Flower’s Bed & its sequel, Black Rose’s.
Slyce: WHAT IS “848”?
AIT: 848 is an urban street web series that I write, co produce & co direct.
Slyce: What was your motivation for the web series?
AIT: I had watched a web series called Money & Violence and was immediately inspired.
Slyce: Who is “Benny Bricks”?
AIT: Benny Bricks is the lead character of the show as the head of a Bronx based drug organization called The Clean Up Crew.
Slyce: When does episode 1 season 3 air?
AIT: Wednesday June 6th.
Slyce: In what city does your web series take place?
AIT: New York City.
Slyce: What does the term, “Building a Brand” mean?
AIT: Building your brand to me is equivalent to building your legacy. You concentrate all of your energy and material and resources into one particular name or logo and everything you do you make it a representation of that name or logo until it becomes a household name.
Slyce: What steps are you taking to build your brand?
AIT: I’ve published books under my brand and 3 years ago I tapped into the film industry, producing film projects under the same company, Amiaya Entertainment.
Slyce: What goals would you like to achieve as an author?
AIT: My goal is to see my novels turned to major motion pictures & my web series to be a full feature series on cable TV.
Slyce: What advice would you like to share with aspiring authors?
AIT: Be original, never give up & stay consistent.
Slyce: Is there anything else cooking in the lab for Author Antoine “Inch” Thomas?
AIT: Season 3 of my web series 848 which launches Wednesday June 6th, then afterward the completion of the feature film, Flower’s Bed bases off my best selling novel.
Slyce: Do you write for the passion or the profit?
AIT: The absolute passion of it.

AIT: James Patterson, Donald Goine’s & Carl Weber.

AIT: Directly from me or Amazon.com. Paperback only.
Slyce: What was one of your biggest mistakes as a new author?
AIT: Converting over to a publisher of other authors very quickly.
Slyce: Do you feel a new author should have a team?
AIT: Absolutely. More leg power can cover a larger area and if somebody doesnt admire you, they may support you because they admire one of your team mates.
