Slyce: What inspired you to become an author?
AH: My father bought me a typewriter when I was 12.
Slyce: What is the name of your publishing company?
AH: I write for Diamante and opg.
Slyce: In what genre do you write?
AH: Urban trying to cross over to contemporary.
Slyce: Have you penned under another name?
AH: No
Slyce: You wrote a book titled, “Dangerously In Love”. What was this book about?
AH: A domestic violence survivor story parts my own story.
Slyce: Is this book a stand alone or a series?
AH: Series
Slyce: How important are interviews?
AH: Very important. I want to know what my readers think.
Slyce: How important are reviews?
AH More than money, it helps u become a better author.
Slyce: What does the term, “Building a Brand” mean?
AH: Making your name known.
Slyce: What steps are you taking to build your brand?
AH: Staying active in the public eye, in social media, in the streets passing out flyers.
Slyce: What goals would you like to achieve as an author?
AH: Bestseller
Slyce: What advice can you offer those aspiring to become an author?
AH: Don’t give up

AH: I have a book coming out this Halloween.
Slyce: Do you write for the passion or the profit?
AH: Both. Writing for me is like breathing. It’s necessary.

AH: I would love to write with anyone who wants to write with me.

AH: In the past. I want to do more, get out my shell. I’m kinda shy.
