Slyce: What inspired you to become an author?Authoress Rozzie

Rozzie: I have always wanted to be a writer ever since I was a little girl. I always thought that with my Creative Imagination that I should put it to use and write a book!

Slyce: What is the name of your publishing company?

Rozzie: Justjae Warner Presents

Slyce: In what genre do you write?

Rozzie: I write in Urban Fiction

Slyce: Have you penned under another name?

Rozzie: Yes, I used the name Ronicgen

Slyce: You wrote a book titled, “Tangled Deceit”. What was this book about?

Rozzie: It is about a girl name Brielle who married her High School Sweetheart Kareem who got drafted to the NFL but Kareem was keeping secrets that can ruin not only his marriage but his career. Brielle also has secrets that can destroy her life. Together, they’re on a path of destruction. Will they be able to stand or will they fall?

Slyce: Is this book a stand alone or a series?

Rozzie: It’s a series

Slyce: How important are interviews?

Rozzie: Interviews are important because it gets your name out there as an Author and it gets your book recognized.

Slyce: How important are reviews?

Rozzie: Reviews are important because they let other readers know what they think about your book. It gives you feedback as well.

Slyce: What does the term, “Building a Brand” mean?

Rozzie: It means generating awareness and promoting yourself using special strategies to build yourself up.

Slyce: What steps are you taking to build your brand?

Rozzie: I use promotional tools to promote myself as an Author. Such as business cards, flyers, and book marks.

Slyce: What goals would you like to achieve as an author?

Rozzie: One goal I would love to achieve is to be able to see my book on the big screen and also I would love be able to retire and make writing books my career.

Slyce: What advice would you like to share with aspiring authors?

Rozzie: I would tell them that in this business you have to have thick skin because it’s tough here. Everyone may not like your book but don’t give up, just keep writing.

Slyce: Is there anything else cooking in the lab for Authoress Rozzie?

Rozzie: Currently, I am working on book 2 for Tangled Deceit.

Slyce: Do you write for the passion or the profit?

Rozzie: I write for PASSION. I’ve always enjoyed writing, it’s in my blood.

Slyce: Name three authors you’d love to work with.

Rozzie: Felicia Ann, my pen sister, Justjae Warner, my Publisher, and if ever possible, Zane.

Slyce: Do you feel a new author should have a “Team”?

Rozzie: Yes, a support team, someone who can help them get through the bumps and bruises and can support them all the way.

Slyce: What are your thoughts on “Author Beef”?

Rozzie: I feel that “Author Beef” is stupid. We are all business professionals. I feel that things should be handled in a mature professional manner.
