Meet Author I-Rhymie

Slyce: Brothers and Sistah’s, please welcome our sistah I-Rhymie to “The Interrogation Room” !!! Welcome my sistah 🙂 . Are you ready?…

Slyce: What inspired you to become an Author?

IR: I started a short story 2013, and let a few friends sample read it. They became hooked and demanded more… That’s how “Forbidden” was born.

Slyce: What is the name of your publishing company?

IR: Major Ink Publications.

Slyce: In what genre do you write?

IR: Erotica, but I plan on venturing into other genres.

Slyce: What excited you about your genre?

IR: People’s reaction, I love it! I always my goal is to make people horny all over the world lol.

Slyce: Have you ever penned under another name?

IR: No, one and only one i-rhymie (translation I AM RHYMIE).

Slyce: You wrote a book titled “Forbidden”. What was this book about?

IR: “Forbidden” is about doing things you know shouldn’t be done. The main character Daytura is in loved with someone she can’t have, a married man. That doesn’t stop them from hooking up , from time to time. Daytura is determined to have Sean by any means necessary, so she makes plan to sabotage his marriage…. Now if you want the rest go read the book lol.

Slyce: Where can our viewers purchase this book?

IR: Amazon, or my website.

Slyce: Is this book a stand alone or a series?

IR: A series, part 2 “Forbidden Secrets” coming soon.

Slyce: Is this book a e-book and/or paperback?

IR: Both.

Slyce: What does the term “Building a Brand” mean?

IR: Creating awareness for a product and or company. To me because I am my brand, I try and think of different ways to promote and advertise my books and other i-rhymie products.

Slyce: What steps are you taking to build your brand?

IR: I’m participating in anything dealing with reader interaction, trying to build a fan base. Also scheduling a few book signings and giveaways in the near future.

Slyce: What does the phrase “Learn the Craft” mean?

IR: Learn the skill and art of writing, I don’t agree with the phrase, only because we as authors, writer’s , poets… WE ALREADY KNOW IT but it’s up to us to build and improve it.

Slyce: What tools have you found most useful in distributing you material?

IR: Facebook, Twitter, and readers. Word of mouth is the best tool, if the book is good people will talk non stop.

Slyce: How important are interviews?

IR: As important as you make them just because you get an interview doesn’t mean you’re the best. Adding on to that statement, just because you don’t get an interview, doesn’t mean you’re the worst.

Slyce: How important are reviews?

IR: Very important, you need to know what your readers think, and how they feel.

Slyce: Have you done blog talk radio?

IR: No.

Slyce: Have you done book signings?

IR: No, I plan to do a local one March 2017.

IR: Zane, Nore and Mary Monroe.

IR: Never give up.

Slyce: What was one of your biggest mistake you made as a “New Author”?

IR: Self Doubt.

Slyce: Is there anything else cooking in the lab for Author I-Rhymie?

IR: Yes! Part 2 of the “Forbidden” series, “Forbidden Secrets” will be dropping late Dec. Plus I’m working on part two of my novel Dirty Discretions, I won’t stop there so stay connected.
